2026.3

IntelliJ SFCC 2026.3 brings the visual Pipeline Editor to JetBrains IDEs, updated IDE compatibility, and Marketplace error reporting.

IntelliJ SFCC 2026.3

Pipeline Editor comes to JetBrains

Open Salesforce B2C Commerce pipelines as diagrams, edit their flow, and work with the XML source from the same JetBrains IDE.

Pipeline Editor

The visual Pipeline Editor helps you follow a pipeline's nodes and transitions without reading the entire XML document to understand its structure.

  • Open pipeline XML in the visual editor.
  • Edit the diagram and switch between the visual and XML source views.
  • Save changes back to the pipeline XML for your existing review and deployment workflow.

Try it

  1. Open your SFCC project and an existing pipeline XML file.
  2. Select the Pipeline Editor view.
  3. Review the flow, make a change, and save the file.
  4. Inspect the XML diff and test the changed pipeline on a development sandbox before deployment.

The visual editor requires an IDE runtime with JCEF support and a valid plugin license or trial. If your IDE runtime does not support JCEF, use the XML source editor.

Other changes

  • IDE compatibility: support for JetBrains IDEs 2026.3 EAP builds.
  • Error reporting: plugin-attributed exceptions and IDE freezes can be reported through JetBrains Marketplace using the IDE's consent and reporting preferences.
  • Removed Sentry integration: the previous diagnostic upload integration, startup consent popup, and reporting settings have been removed.

This release also carries forward the 2026.2.1 fixes: debugger startup with linked cartridges no longer requires a selected Site Scope, the Site Scope popup handles a nullable final-step result, and scope-driven index refresh runs off the event dispatch thread.

Install and activate

Update IntelliJ SFCC through Settings → Plugins → Updates, then restart the IDE if prompted.

2026.3 is a new paid major release. Your subscription or perpetual license must cover this release. A perpetual fallback license for an earlier major release continues to cover its eligible versions; it does not automatically unlock 2026.3.
