Log Center brings the logs of your sandbox into VS Code. It lists the log files of the active connection, tails them live or parses them once, groups repeated messages into unique events, and maps each stack trace to your cartridge source. Errors reach the Problems panel and Code Lens, and you can mark them fixed, keep a backlog, spot anomalies, export reports, and hand an investigation to your AI agent

Pick sandbox log files in Log Center, tail them live or parse what they contain, and follow every task in the Monitor tab
Log Center Events
Search and filter the unique events of your sandbox logs, read each one with its resolved stack trace, and jump to the code that logged it
Triage and Fix
Mark Log Center events fixed, keep a backlog, catch anomalies, follow errors in the Problems panel, and hand the fix loop to your AI agent
Reports and Data
Export Log Center events as HTML, JSON, or PDF reports, read the Overview, tune the Settings tab, and manage the local event database
Where it lives
Log Center has two surfaces that share the same data:

The header shows the instance, with Live while Log Center is tailing or parsing files, or Idle otherwise. Refresh Logs in the view title bar reloads the remote log list
Log Center always works on the active connection. Its filters are saved per connection, and switching the active connection loads that instance's events. Without an active connection, the header shows No active instance
How it works
Pick log files
The Files tab lists every file under Log Files on the instance, including the archives in log_archive. Filter them by type and category, then select the ones you need
Tail or parse
Tail watches files for new entries, Parse imports what they already contain, and Parse & Tail does both. Each asks which event levels to ingest. See Tail and Parse Logs
Investigate events
The Events tab groups repeated messages into unique events with counts, a histogram, filters, and a detail drawer with the resolved stack trace. See Events

Log file types
Log Center reads the file type from the file name. The type filter offers:

Categories narrow further by the file name prefix, and archived .log.zip files form their own archives category. Security logs are not listed in Log Center; browse them in the B2C WebDAV Explorer
Status bar
While Log Center works, a status bar item shows the load, such as 2 files · 14 unique · CPU 6%. Its tooltip lists the monitored files, unique events, parsed total, the queue, the workers, and the CPU use, with Open Log Center, Stop monitoring, and Tune concurrency links. Clicking it opens the Files tab. See Load and performance
Where the data is kept
Parsed events are stored on your machine, in one SQLite database per instance with full-text search, so they survive a restart. Downloaded log files are kept next to it, by hostname. Remote files on the instance are never changed by Log Center. See Reports and Data
Access
Log Center is part of Intellij SFCC access, through a trial, a personal subscription, or an organization seat. Without it, the view shows Intellij SFCC access required with the button for your next step (Sign In, Choose a Plan, Renew Subscription or View Assigned Seat, and Open Dashboard when access could not be checked), Sync Access once you are signed in, and active tails stop
