Cartridges & Overrides

Explorer-side cartridge and override trees in VS Code

The VS Code extension contributes two views to the built-in Explorer area: Cartridges and Overrides. They keep local cartridge structure and override relationships visible next to the project files.

Cartridges

Use the Cartridges view to find raw cartridges, show ignored cartridges, show active cartridges, open files, unlink cartridges, mark folders as cartridges or B2C modules, and sync cartridge data to dw.json.

Overrides

Use the Overrides view to find file override chains, compare a file with the active remote or local top override, and open the relevant override target.
