Yes. Both the VS Code extension and the JetBrains plugin offer a 7-day free trial for new users, and no credit card is required. In VS Code, the trial starts as soon as you install the extension.

For VS Code, choose a Personal or Organization plan on this page, billed monthly, yearly or once as a lifetime license, and pay through a secure checkout with your Intellij SFCC account. For JetBrains, buy and manage your license on JetBrains Marketplace. Taxes are calculated at checkout.

The JetBrains plugin is sold through JetBrains Marketplace, where JetBrains runs the checkout, the invoicing and the license. Many companies depend on that: their procurement policy only allows approved vendors, so they buy JetBrains tools, plugins included, from JetBrains or an authorized JetBrains reseller. The VS Code Marketplace does not sell paid extensions, so the VS Code license is sold here with your Intellij SFCC account, and the two license systems are not connected. You do not have to pay twice, though: if you own a license for one editor, contact us through any of our support channels with your order details and request a license for the other.

Yes, for VS Code. Personal lifetime access costs $200 once. Organization lifetime access costs $320 per seat, with a minimum of two seats. There is no renewal, and lifetime support is included. The seats belong to the organization: when a developer leaves, assign the seat to the next one without buying it again. Lifetime licenses do not activate the JetBrains plugin.

Each developer needs a seat. For VS Code, choose an Organization plan with 2 to 100 seats, then assign and reassign seats to members in your Intellij SFCC account. For JetBrains, buy team licenses on JetBrains Marketplace. Contact us for volume pricing, invoicing or a security review.

Install the VS Code extension on as many computers as you like. A license or seat is active on one device at a time, and closing VS Code on one computer frees it for the next. VS Code, Insiders, Cursor and Windsurf on the same computer count as one device, and so do Remote SSH, WSL and dev containers. The JetBrains plugin is licensed separately through JetBrains Marketplace.

Yes. Cancel your VS Code subscription in your Intellij SFCC account at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. JetBrains renewals are managed in your JetBrains account.

Yes. In Billing, switch a VS Code subscription between monthly and yearly, or change an organization's seat count. You see what is due now, any credit and the new recurring total before you confirm. Buying a lifetime license does not cancel an existing subscription, so turn off its renewal in Billing. JetBrains plans are changed in your JetBrains account.

Yes. Add your company's Tax/VAT number to your organization in your Intellij SFCC account, and it is used on your invoices and receipts. You can find your invoices in Billing. JetBrains Marketplace issues the invoices for JetBrains purchases.
