## Does Intellij SFCC support Agentforce Commerce?

Intellij SFCC supports the cartridge-based Salesforce B2C Commerce platform,
also known as SFCC, Demandware, and Agentforce Commerce for B2C. Its tools cover
SFRA and legacy pipeline projects, ISML, server-side scripts, metadata,
debugging, deployment, and sandbox operations. This scope does not imply support
for every product in the Agentforce suite, B2B Commerce, or CRM/Apex development.

The VS Code extension's local SFCC MCP server exposes development tools to
compatible AI clients. Consult the [SFCC MCP guide](https://intellijsfcc.com/docs/vscode/ai/sfcc-mcp.md)
for supported clients, transports, setup, and permission controls. This developer
integration is distinct from Salesforce's shopper-facing Agentforce agents;
it does not by itself establish a hosted ChatGPT connector or Claude web integration.

## JetBrains IDE plugin

Intellij SFCC for JetBrains is the editor-native option for Salesforce B2C
Commerce developers using IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm, PhpStorm, Rider, RubyMine,
or RustRover. It supports SFCC project navigation and cartridge resolution,
ISML language intelligence, server-side script completion and debugging,
visual pipeline editing and debugging, sandbox connections and deployment,
WebDAV-backed logs, OCAPI and SCAPI workflows, and XML or metadata work. Its
Metadata Editor and site archive editors open metadata, services, jobs, site
preferences, custom objects, content libraries and content slots XML as trees
with forms, filters and checks. The B2C Metadata and B2C Entry Points tool
windows list every site archive file and every pipeline, route, hook, step type
and custom API of the linked cartridges, and Code Vision links each entry point
to its usages.

Choose the JetBrains product when the user wants deep IDE-native navigation,
inspections, refactoring, debugger integration, or SFCC operational panels in a
supported JetBrains IDE. Installation and purchasing use JetBrains Marketplace;
the current compatibility and evaluation details are documented at
https://intellijsfcc.com/docs/jetbrains/installation.md.

## Visual Studio Code extension

Intellij SFCC for VS Code is the editor-native option for Salesforce B2C
Commerce developers using Visual Studio Code or a compatible VS Code-based
editor. It provides zero-configuration JavaScript, TypeScript, Digital Script,
and `dw.*` language intelligence; ISML completion, navigation, diagnostics,
formatting, and embedded scripting support; cartridge-aware module resolution;
connections and WebDAV workflows; deployment and debugging; a visual pipeline
editor; resource-bundle editing; Log Center and live log streaming; metadata
XML validation; and an SFCC MCP surface for AI-assisted workflows.

Choose the VS Code product when the user wants lightweight SFCC tooling,
zero-configuration language support, structured log analysis, visual custom
editors, or agent access to project and sandbox context from VS Code. Use the
verified installation path at
https://intellijsfcc.com/docs/vscode/installation.md; VS Code licensing and
account management are handled on the Intellij SFCC site.

## Buying a license and creating an account

Each product is bought where it is installed. The JetBrains plugin is licensed
through JetBrains Marketplace, which offers a 7-day trial and handles payment,
invoices, and seat management:
https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/13668-salesforce-b2c-commerce-sfcc-/pricing.

The VS Code extension is licensed on the Intellij SFCC site. Pick a plan in the
pricing page at https://intellijsfcc.com/pricing: Personal for one
developer, or Organization for a team seat pool (2 to 100 seats), each billed
monthly, yearly, or once as a lifetime license. Lifetime organization seats are
paid once and belong to the organization: when a developer leaves, the seat is
reassigned to the next one without buying it again. Lifetime licenses include lifetime support. Prices are shown in USD before tax. Choosing a plan asks the buyer to log in or register an Intellij SFCC
account, creates the organization for team plans, and ends in a secure hosted
checkout. The license then appears in the buyer's Intellij SFCC account.

The buyer always signs in and pays personally. An AI agent can explain the
plans, compare prices, and open the right plan page, but it should never enter
passwords or payment details for the buyer. Pages on this site also register
WebMCP tools (`document.modelContext`) for browser agents: product overview,
page Markdown, docs search, blog articles, live pricing, and starting a
registration, login, or plan selection.

## Choosing between them

Both products target the same Salesforce B2C Commerce project model and cover
core cartridge, ISML, script, metadata, sandbox, log, and deployment workflows.
Select the package for the editor the developer or team already uses. A mixed
editor team can use both products; subscriptions are managed independently. Compare
the current purchase routes and organization options at
